Now we all wonder if we mike the right choices in life right? Have you ever wondered if there is no right or wrong choice, just something that has an outcome that is not to your liking?
In order to get into the academy I want it will cost a substantial sum of money with no guarantee of even place to go after that. I have been hearing a lot of talk of how the military would pay well for my school and all that jazz and at the current cost to attend it it will be hard to come up with the money, the best thing would to actually land acting gigs that pay well and go on from there. But what if that doesnt work then I am in a bind and I dont know what to do. What would anyone recommend?

Misinterpretation of the Meaning
Did you know that you could make the Nike symbol with a paper clip? Did you also know anyone who reads this with a paper clip nearby would try doing this? Yeah I hate stupid questions like that too. I also like putting random titles to make what I have to say interesting... carry on as you were.
Wie Ghets?
Having been in school for about a month now I have decided what I like and don't like about each of my respectable classes and it goes a little something like this... ahem.
German, the kaiser is out to get my vocal chords, I swear it on my life... in the most metaphorical sense possible. I think I know what I like and don't like about languages. I like having only to types of words (neuter and plural) not four (add masculine and feminine to that list and you got it) I just don't like their being three or four ways to say a word and or pronounce it. Call me lazy, call me not smart, or what have you but eh that's how I feel. Other that that the only thing that is keeping me from fully grasping the language is the fact that I don't have enough time to devote to it. I'm trying but its hard.
Script analysis, whether taught by the great Christine Frezza or not I am finding it not as exciting and grand as it was made out to me to be. I understand and like the concepts taught its just not very enveloping or anything else that what usually catch the mind of a hands on type person, such as myself. I mean its a good skill have, seeing every side of a script to get the most out of it, but for me unless we're acting it I personally haven't given a shit and some of the scripts are just plain stupid. (I know as an actor don't limit yourself but come one its hard to get into a one act when its just two women talking about beauty and what its like to have or want it.) Right now however we are studying absurdism, which means a normal person in an absurd world or visa versa. Now I you have caught my eye because I love that stuff. I love the freedom and irrationality that comes with conflicting subjects and settings. Its great feed me a spoonful every night before bed. So hopefully from here it will pick back up.
Film study is just great, I am loving every second of it. I have gotten passed the fact that there are some very annoying people who are just taking the class for an easy "A" and to just watch movies. That's great; if that's for you however. I, on the other hand, am completely immersing my self in what I am learning. The only thing that I haven't really put much effort into is reading the book, hopefully I will change that bad habit of mine. I participate in the discussions, I always put my voice out there, and I have yet to miss an assignment. This is what I want to do so I have to take it seriously.
Last but not least... ROTC; its fun, thats all I can really say about without repeating myself too many times. Guns, mock explosions, getting in shape, and very useful information as well. Land navigation should be very useful seeing as how I love hiking.
The gist of it all is basically I am happy with my class choices I wish I had more film options but until I guess until I can make to a specialized school this will have to do.

A work of fiction
When acting do you ever feel like you bring your skill into real life?
I try not to, sometimes its difficult, but honesty is usually the best policy. Now what happens when that policy is taken as an act? That you are pretending to care in the eyes of someone you have hurt? No matter how honest it seems to yourself that you are being. That person will never believe a word you are saying. That's Hamartia for you, well me anyways, probably not my most tragic flaw but it is one of them and when I encounter my flaws I usually am not a big fan of them and will try my best to fix them. But how do you fix what you didnt break?

Three year plan
To be successful in life one must have a plan. I have a plan and I am sure with some diligence, patience, and a lot will power I can make my life what i want to be. My plan is to attend my university for two years and get my Associate of Arts and then go onto a specialized film acting school. I want this to be about three years in length and in my spare time I want to audition audition audition. Get myself out there and do what I love.

To the left right hooah
The body is an amazing instrument. You can pound on it for hours and it adapts. But it does have its limits. Let me paraphrase and attempt to quote one of my favorite movie lines of all time. "The human body is like an instrument, pound on it for too long and it gets out of tune..." (Morgan Freeman-"Unleashed)
In my earlier blog I said that I would use this not only as an artistic site but a kinda "get to know me site" I am in the Universities Army ROTC program and I will admit that I am having a blast with it (its only been a week but its been a good week none the less) and I am excited and nervous at the same time because I am training for the Ranger Challenge in late November. We arrive earlier, work harder and stay later than the regular cadets. My body is beat. Over 100 push ups countless flights of stairs, and inexhaustible miles... I can barely move and I love it. I am not big on the military but I am not going to lie I am having fun. I feel that the experience I gain (level 3) will not only help with an acting career but also in everyday life. Land Nav, First Aid, Marksmanship, and P.T. All great for a resume, and great for the mind. The lord says learn as much as you can in this because you are only in this life once. Education is the key to the mind and through that all things are possible and many more doors are opened that way.
On a closing note. Politics is pointless, dont bother, dont waste your time, there hasnt been a good politician in decades. Political talks get no where and you only end up feeling angry in the end. Walk you own path and give the bird to those who try to alter your path.

History (experience)
Since I am using this page mainly as a artistic profile as well as a random "here's how I am doing world..." I figured that if anyone does come looking around at this I should put up my experience as a actor and what I would have to offer a perspective caster. So why not just do a list shall we.
All of these are either high school or community theater projects that I have worked in.
Tuck Everlasting (1999) Bartender
Fiddler on the Roof (2002) Yussel the Hatter
The Whole Shebang (2004) God's Roommate Peter
The New Medicine Show (2005) Omicron
Man of La Mancha (2005) Muleteer
Bye Bye Birdie (2005) Mayor
Othello and the Boy Band Venice (2006) Security
Vaudeville (2006) Musical and Improv acts
Roger and Hammerstein's "Cinderella" (2007) Royal Guardsman
Himmelsk Saga (2008) Ensemble Dance
Off the Cuff {Improv Sports} (2006-present) Understudy
I will continue to update this list as the experience level grows (Im a level three actor, with bonuses to bull shitting) (ahh, nerd humor gotta love it, break up with it, and smash its hopes and dreams into cosmic dust)

Intros are to be made
My main purpose here is to show the world my abilities as an actor. This will be my venue to the world. For those looking for talent to consider me, for those willing to get to know me, and for me to be in a small portion of the world's eye. I have great interest in film acting, that's what I want to be and do with my life. I could give shit all about the fame. I want the experience and the thrill of stepping into another persona. To become the character given to you and not just walk a mile in his/hers shoes, but to run flat out and give all the emotion and responses that that person would. To make you believe that I am that person. I wont lie and say that the money isn't interesting because it is, but its not my main drive. My main drive is to do what I love for a living.
A little about me? Why not? Simple run down is that I am a twenty year old male living in Southern Utah, attending SUU for two years before I plan on attending the NYFA to focus mainly on screen acting. (You know its very hard to describe yourself without making it sound like a personals ad.) Anyways, I'll just describe more about me as time goes on by the things that I do and post about.
